Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess one of the following:
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a recognized University
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by an institution recognized by the State or Central Government as equivalent
Important:
Only candidates who completed their diploma through regular (full-time) mode are eligible.
Other Conditions
- Candidates who have training or job experience of 1 year or more after diploma completion are not eligible.
- Candidates who completed their diploma before 01 February 2021 are not eligible (gap must not exceed 5 years).
- Graduate/Postgraduate candidates are not eligible.
- Candidates must submit a declaration/affidavit confirming they have not undergone apprenticeship earlier.
- For CGPA/SGPA scoring, candidates must produce conversion documents; otherwise, they will be disqualified.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 14 years (as on 01-02-2026)
- No upper age limit
- Candidates aged 14–18 years must have their apprenticeship contract signed by a guardian, as they are minors.
Stipend / Salary
- Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹10,900/- as per Apprenticeship Act norms.
Selection Process
Selection will be purely merit-based, with no exam or interview.
